We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. It's also very interesting to use (for a beginner as I am) a Nissin Di-622, to get used with it. A bounce will be helpful. You'll be very surprised how good a Nissin can be.
All Speedlights should be used also as Slave (flashing syncro or non-syncro). Regarding this Nikon give more flexibility to use more Creative Light environment (if you are a PRO or very passion photo person).
Nissin has also Slave mode, which is optical and with IR.
This is my opinion but you can read more reviews on web.
